Es una sopa hecha con tucupi, jambu, goma de tapioca y camarones secos. El tucupi es un caldo amarillo extra\u00eddo de la yuca brava, que pasa por un proceso de fermentaci\u00f3n y cocci\u00f3n para eliminar su veneno natural, el \u00e1cido cianh\u00eddrico. Hecho con yerba mate molida y agua caliente, el chimarr\u00e3o se consume en una calabaza con una bombilla.
